6–7 Day Machame Route Itinerary – Mount Kilimanjaro
The Machame Route, also known as the “Whiskey Route,” is one of the most popular and scenic ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers diverse landscapes, excellent acclimatization, and a high summit success rate. This route is best suited for trekkers seeking a challenging yet rewarding adventure.
Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Altitude: 1,800m → 3,000m

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Altitude: 3,000m → 3,840m
