Your Northern Circuit adventure begins with a transfer from Moshi to Londorossi Gate, where you will complete registration and park entry procedures.

From the gate, you will continue toward the starting point of the trek before entering the lush rainforest of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The first day is relatively short, allowing you to settle into the mountain environment while enjoying the rich vegetation and natural surroundings.

The trail passes through dense forest where you may encounter different bird species and other wildlife. As you continue upward, the forest gradually begins to change.

Upon reaching the crater rim, you will continue toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest point in Africa.

After the summit experience, you begin your descent toward the lower slopes of the mountain.

You will eventually reach Mweka Gate, where you will complete the final park procedures and say goodbye to your mountain crew.

Your vehicle will then transfer you back to Moshi for a well-deserved rest at your hotel.

Moshi – Departure
