Your Kilimanjaro adventure begins with a transfer from Moshi to Umbwe Gate, located on the southern side of Mount Kilimanjaro.
After completing registration and park entry procedures, you will meet your mountain crew and begin trekking through the lush rainforest.
The Umbwe trail quickly becomes steep as it follows a narrow ridge through dense forest. The route is more demanding than many other Kilimanjaro approaches, so your guide will establish a slow and comfortable pace.

After reaching the top of the wall, you continue across the Southern Circuit toward Karanga Valley.

The trail passes through rugged high-altitude terrain with impressive views of the surrounding mountain landscape.

After several hours of trekking, you arrive at Karanga Camp.

Because today's trek is relatively short, you will have time to rest, enjoy the surroundings, and prepare for the higher elevations ahead.

Day 04 :

Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp

Today is the summit day and the most challenging part of your Kilimanjaro adventure.

You will begin the ascent during the early hours of the morning, trekking slowly through the high-altitude terrain toward the crater rim.

The trail continues toward Stella Point, located on the crater rim at approximately 5,739 meters.

From Stella Point, you continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest point in Africa.

At 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), you will have time to celebrate your achievement, take photographs, and appreciate the incredible summit environment.

After reaching Uhuru Peak, you begin the descent toward Barafu before continuing down the southern slopes toward Mweka Camp.

The descent to a lower elevation provides welcome relief after the demanding summit climb.

Day 06 :

Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Moshi

You may receive your summit certificate where applicable before your vehicle transfers you back to Moshi.
