Day 01 :

Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubwa Camp

Your Kilimanjaro adventure begins with a transfer from Moshi to Londorossi Gate, located on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After completing registration and park entry procedures, you will continue to the trailhead before beginning your trek through the beautiful Kilimanjaro rainforest.

The first section of the route is surrounded by dense vegetation, tall trees, and the sounds of mountain birds. The trail gradually climbs through the forest, allowing you to settle into the rhythm of trekking.

After several hours, you will arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp, where your mountain crew will have prepared your campsite.

After breakfast, you begin the day with one of the most famous sections of the Kilimanjaro trek—the Barranco Wall.

With the assistance of your experienced mountain crew, you carefully make your way upward through the natural trail along the wall. Although the section can look challenging from below, it is a trekking scramble and does not normally require technical climbing equipment.

Once you reach the top, you continue across the Southern Circuit toward Karanga Valley.

The trail passes through dramatic high-altitude scenery before reaching Karanga Camp.

This relatively short trekking day gives you valuable time to rest and continue preparing your body for the summit attempt.

Day 06 :

Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp

Day 07 :

Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp

Today is the summit day and the most demanding part of your Kilimanjaro adventure.

The climb continues toward Stella Point, located on the crater rim at approximately 5,739 meters.

From Stella Point, you continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest point in Africa.

At 5,895 meters, you will have an opportunity to celebrate your achievement, take photographs, and enjoy the extraordinary summit environment.

After reaching Uhuru Peak, you begin your descent toward Barafu before continuing down the southern slopes to Mweka Camp.

After this long and challenging day, you will enjoy dinner and rest overnight at camp.

Day 08 :

Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Moshi

Elevation: 3,080m – 1,630m
Distance: Approximately 10 km

After breakfast, you begin the final descent through the lush Kilimanjaro rainforest.

After several hours of trekking, you will reach Mweka Gate, where you will complete the final park procedures and say goodbye to your mountain crew.
