Day 01 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Into the Land of Giants

Your Tanzania safari begins in Arusha with a morning departure towards Tarangire National Park. As you leave the city behind, the landscape gradually changes from urban surroundings to open countryside and eventually to the wilderness of Tarangire.

After entering the park, your game drive begins. Tarangire is particularly famous for its elephants and distinctive baobab trees, while the Tarangire River provides an important source of water for wildlife, especially during the dry season.

Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas and other antelope species. With patience and a little luck, you may also encounter predators such as lions.

As the afternoon progresses, continue exploring the park before heading to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

The plains provide habitat for large populations of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and other herbivores, which in turn attract some of Africa’s most iconic predators.

During your afternoon game drive, watch carefully for lions resting among the grass, cheetahs scanning the plains and hyenas moving through the landscape. Leopards may also be seen in suitable habitats, although sightings require patience and good fortune.

Today is dedicated entirely to discovering the Serengeti. Your experienced guide will follow wildlife activity and select areas where the chances of interesting sightings are promising.

The Serengeti is also one of the major stages of the Great Migration, when huge herds of wildebeest and other grazing animals move across the ecosystem in search of fresh pasture and water. The exact location of the herds changes throughout the year, so your experience will depend on the season and their movements.

After a full day among the plains, return to your accommodation for dinner and another peaceful night in the Serengeti.

Day 04 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
